Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world." Karen Street Baptist Church is commited to the establishment of New Testament Baptist Churches at home and abroad. In obedience to the command of Christ to "Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature", Karen Street supports 30 missionaries actively serving in the United States and 10 foreign countries. In adition, we provide benevolent support to four retired missionaries. Our present missionary budget is $18,000 which is 20% of the total church budget. The majority of our missionaries are directly involved in Church Planting, two in church building, two serving as medical missionaries, two as camp directors and one as an instructor at a Christian Acadamy in Hong KONG. All of our missionaries serve under Independent Baptist Boards including ABWE, Baptist Mid-Missions, Baptist World Mission, Mount Abarim Baptist Mission, Continental Baptist Mission, Baptist Church Planters, and Whispering Cedars Baptist Camp here in Nebraska. We consider Missions to be the very reason for our existence and that KSBC is to be a lighthouse at home and abroad.
